If the sauceless, dry pizza wasn't enough, the service is also horrific. We recently ordered a pizza that took over an hour to be delivered. The pizza that arrived was not as ordered. We ordered half cheese, half pepperoni, received all pepperoni. We called to complain and were given a hard time and asked to return the pizza! And wait another hour? I don't think so! No self-respecting restaurant would ever ask for the used product back. This itself raises suspicion on business etiquette and food safety. 5 minutes of arguing finally convinced the restaurant to deliver us a small cheese no charge and for us to keep the already delivered pizza to feed the non-vegetarians. The second delivery arrives somewhat faster (30 minutes), but the driver asks for the pizza back. Unreal! I'm seeing a trend after reading other reviewers that have noted rude service. Overall, the service doesn't matter. I'm not a fan of the pizza, so it won't be ordered again, and I won't have to worry about the awful service.

decent delivery food. Our order consisted of a buffalo chicken calzone, a Westcott House hot grinder, and large fries. The calzone was lacking on the buffalo sauce. We could hardly tell that it was a buffalo dish at all. The grinder was good; a spin-off from the Italian grinder but good nonetheless. The fries were surprisingly crisp and crunchy even after delivery. Overall, the delivery experience wasn't bad. Prices were average. I'll probably order from here again and try some other menu items.

The pizza is ok, the dough is usually dry which is better than greasy, but still not great. Drivers and staff have always been pleasant. We typically pick up now because they are able to churn a pizza out in 10 minutes flat. The restaurant shares it's parking lot with a gas station so getting in and out can be a hassle. I'll order from here again because I know the product is edible, but I'm still looking for the best pizza in West Warwick.

It's unfortunate that no matter how hard I try, the best pizza in West Warwick - comes from Cranston. Westcott is about as average as it gets. I find their pizza greasy, their dinner plates sub-par and their service is lacking. Through the years I've been to parties or gatherings where Westcott was brought in and just simply did not enjoy it. It's not the WORST pizza I have had, but it quickly dries out and is usually lacking in the sauce department. Phone service feels agitated and rushed and their prices could most def be better.

This has to be the most lousy place I have ever ordered food they do not understand how to make a calzone what ingredients you put in an Italian salad their staff has no common sense they should not be in this industry I do not know how they make money and when you order a sandwich it comes on a sub roll but when you order a sub it also comes on a sub roll what a waste of money

Well, went here last night for the first time and it was good. Ordered from there again tonight and this time tried their snail salad. I can honestly say that this is the next best place to go other than iggys. I love it and can't wait to have it again!!

I guess everyone has the own opinion on who has the best grinder, pizza, etc etc that's fine we all have own favorite shop to get pizza. I come here for the grinders especially the Italian anything else I'm set on were I want pizza. Just for me the sandwiches are my thing I come here. Tasty, warm or cold with or without mayo or oil and vinegar.

We just ate at their new restaurant in Coventry. It was the first time for all of us. We decided to avoid the pizza and sub items on the menu and try their entrees instead. In a word...the food was mediocre. My daughter had a salmon salad. Nice piece of salmon but there was nothing there to get excited about. My wife had eggplant parm. It was flat and a little over cooked. She finished it but didn't see any reason to ever order it again. As a side, my wife ordered the mac and cheese. It was dry and bland. I had pasta with creamy pesto, scallops, shrimp, and haddock. Bland and uninteresting.. I tried to liven it up by asking for some shredded Parmesan or Romano. What I got was the stuff you buy in a cardboard container like what Kraft sells. I didn't see how it would help so I didn't add it. The only thing we thought was really good was their chips with Gorgonzola gravy. The chips are hand cut potatoes, nicely cooked and the gravy is tasty. Everything else was pretty non descript.

I really can't understand bad reviews for this place. For how busy they are most nights, I am always amazed how the food is always amazing and no issues. I'm a regular there, most of the staff knows me by name at this point. I have been going there since I was like 2 years old. 25 years later, I still love it and go very frequently! Recommend their meatball pizza and garlic bread w/ cheese!!!

Stopped in for a pizza. The reviews seemed to be mixed. We had one of their specials. Pizza and drinks for about $20.00. The pizza was good, the pitcher of soda hit the spot and the app was just fine. So it was not the best Pizza in town, but it was still good enough for us and the price was just what the Dr. ordered.

I enjoy Wescott House in West Warwick, often call for delivery and the service is prompt, (delivery free) and food is always good. Sunday evening I was invited to their new Coventry location. I ordered the Shrimp Lemon and Lime pasta dish. Wow! Delish! The flavor was outstanding, pasta cooked perfectly andante and the shrimp were plentiful, good-sized, FRESH and tender. They open Tuesday, I think, for the general public and I highly recommend it. My mom had the Veal Parmesan which was very tasty, fresh and tender. Portions are great, restaurant is very clean and clearly the owners really care. They were all around the entire evening checking on things. They have a good-sized, beautiful bar/lounge area that is about the nicest place around where local residents can spend an evening out. The help is very friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable elegant. Paint colors are very soft and homey. I'll be back.

I have been ordering from Westcott for many years. Throughout the years they have always had the best pizza with good quality ingredients. However, recently I have noticed quality decreasing. Tonight, I went in to pick up take out. I overheard the cooks talking about the customers. They were complaining saying "it isn't their fault if the customer doesn't know what they want. " while this may be true, customers can hear and it is very unprofessional. I hope they can turn this around or I will be forced to find a new pizza joint in town.

So far Westcott House is my "GO-TO" for pizza since moving to the West Warwick/Cranston area. I am pretty picky when it comes to pizza and so far they take the cake. My usual is pepperoni, perfect amount of cheese, sauce and roni's. Crust is always cooked to perfection, never burnt. Never too greasy either. Delivery has never been a problem, pretty average and prices are pretty standard.

The service is really bad - the phone girls are usually pretty rude (bad attitudes and talking to co-workers while you are ordering) but we order from there all the time since the food is pretty good - but we are never going to order from there again. The last time we ordered the girl thought we ordered a small fry when I asked for a small extra cheese pizza. They also forgot the side of oil and vinegar I asked for .When I called she said "So you didnt want a small fry?" and I said no and she said "Fine but you have to pay the difference." I said ok thats fine whatever. Then some other girl got on the phone and started giving me a bunch of crap about how the side of oil and vinegar was in the bag and even though I stated nicley a few times that I couldnt find it she continued to give me an attitude about how she did it already and we didnt need another one. I asked to speak with the manager and let him know that I didnt appreciate being given an attitude and being yelled at by his employees and he said "I didnt hear any yelling." So I said thats fine - but why do I need to be given an attitude and argued with when I am just asking for mistakes to be fixed. I suggested that I shouldnt have to pay the $5 difference for the pizza for all my trouble of having to wait longer and being treated like crap by the staff and the manager argued that as well. He thought that since they were honest mistakes I should have to pay the difference. I said that I was willing to pay it when it was an honest mistake but not when I am argued with and given an attitude like its my fault. In the end he said "I will do it but I will honestly tell you that I dont think I should have to - and our delivery time is 30 minutes. I will try to get it out faster than that but I dont know." I ended up calling back 5 minutes later because I realized that I didnt want to eat food from people that I cant trust - who knows what they are going to do to it. And I will never put up with that service ever again.

Westcott House has awesome food, no doubt, but the four stars and not five is because they are a bit pricier than others in the area for the same type of stuff The pasta dishes are also worth a try if you're looking for that sort of thing. It's definitely well executed and prepared food.

From Their House to Mine Let me just start out and say Westcott House is straight up delicious. I order food from them every weekend and it's always the same great quality. What's good there? The subs are pretty solid with the chicken salad one being my favorite (they make their own). Steak and cheese is my go-to when I want to switch it up. The pizza there is also good depending on what you get. I'm a fan of the veggie pizza because they load it up like veggies are going out of style. My only gripe is that it's tough sometimes to get through to them on the phone on a weekend night. Luckily, the telephone gods invented the redial button, so pressing that with determination will finally give you the opportunity to feast on Westcott's greatness. Tired of Subway and Apollo Ohno telling you their subs are better? Make your own call and hit up Westcott House.

I always want to give half stars... 3 stars seems too low, but I don't feel I've sampled enough to give 4. So figure a 3.5. I ordered delivery the other day when I didn't bring lunch to work -- had a huge and pretty delicious cold tuna grinder and a nice garden salad. Service on the phone and from the delivery guy was friendly, it did take about 30 minutes to get there which seems a little long for a cold sandwich and a salad, but it did match up with what she told me on the phone. I thought prices were very reasonable. The salad had black olives, which I do not like, but that is a personal issue and I picked them out and it was pretty good; cherry tomatoes were good quality and actually tasted like tomatoes which is an achievement for this time of year. Would definitely try it again.

This is a nice little take out/delivery place. I highly recommend their fish and chips and they have a very good Italian grinder. Pizza is okay, and they seem to use good ingredients, but it's a little thick for my tastes.

Good food but rude people. Went to pick up a pizza and one of the workers nudged another one and pointed at me and laughed.

Pizza was good didn't like fish and chips. Maybe I am expecting to much. They delivered the wrong hoagie and promptly brought the correct one.
